Piano Lessons
Are you interested in learning to play the piano, or improve your playing? I offer piano lessons in and around the Sevenoaks area for all levels including complete beginners. Some people prefer to follow grades, whereas others simply want to learn some of their favourite tunes. Whatever path you would like to take, I am happy to help you acheive your goals with music.
I teach most styles of music, including blues, boogie woogie, classical, rock, pop, and latin. I am not a nasty strict teacher, and won't make you learn things you have no interest in. I simply enjoy sharing knowledge of music with others who are keen to learn. A lot of piano teachers in particular follow the "scales, scales and more scales" approach to learning music, which, in my opinion, kills the enjoyment of it. This is especially important for young students. Having a piano teacher that allows them to have fun and be creative and go at their own pace is important if they are to find it enjoyable. Forcing them through grades when they are not ready will not help, and they will just find the experience of music stressful!
