There are a number of options available for you to choose from. If you are not really sure which one would suit your event best, please feel free to get in touch to discuss the possibilities.
Solo Piano - £200-250
Most of the work I do at the moment is as a solo pianist. It is one of the most budget-friendly ways of having quality live music at an event. I usually play a mix of mellow "cocktail" jazz, blues and some more upbeat swing. If you have a preference to what kind of thing I play, that can be arranged. I have a large solo piano repertoire which consists of tunes from the 1920s to modern day. You can download a list of some of the songs I usually play here. If there is a piano at your venue, I am more than happy to play it (as long as it's in good condition and tuned!). If not, I provide a keyboard and p.a. system.
Jazz/Funk Band - £350 - £1000
You can also book a variety of jazz lineups for your event. This can be anything from a duo (e.g. piano with singer, or piano with bass), to a quintet (5 piece band). The larger band setups are great for evening receptions, and can really help to get a party going. Below are some possible options. If you are not sure which would work best, please feel free to get in touch and discuss the possibilities!
Duo - Piano/Bass, or Piano/Singer, for example.
Trio - Piano/Bass/Drums or Piano/Bass/Vocalist or Trumpet for example
Quartet - Piano/Bass/Drums/Vocalist for example
Quintet - Piano/Bass/Drums/Vocals/Trumpet
